What makes a food keto-friendly?
On keto, the number that matters is net carbs— total carbohydrates minus fiber and sugar alcohols, because those aren't digested into blood sugar. Most people stay in ketosis at 20–50g net carbs per day, so whether a food is “keto” comes down to its net carbs and your portion. Use this quick scale (per 100g):
